Lanman Transportation has been a leader in the industry for over 25 years. We are a for hire hazmat carrier operating in primarily Illinois, Indiana, and Missouri. We are looking for a full-time regional driver in the Mattoon, Champaign, Robinson, Effingham area.

The Fuel Hauler is a key role in ensuring a successful partnership with our customers. Safely drive tractor with tanker to make deliveries on time, without incident, is the main objective. This position requires a clean driving record and demonstrated knowledge in fuel/hazmat deliveries. Will train the right candidate.
- Drive tractor/tanker truck to various locations in a safe and efficient manner; per dispatch
- Perform pre trip visual inspections of vehicle to determine road worthiness
- Electronically complete required paperwork such as shipping papers, hours of service, etc.
- Have working knowledge of DOT regulations operations a CMV, transporting hazardous materials and how to respond to an emergency
- Minimum of 1 year CDL experience
- CDL – Class A
- Valid DOT Physical
- Clean driving record
- Hazmat/tanker endorsement (X endorsement)
- Great attention to detail
- Ability to life 25-50lbs
- Initiative and willingness to learn
- Strong customer service skills
- Must be willing to work one weekend day a week
